My 8 month baby has fever temparature is 99.6 how much ml of crocin drops we should give from 2 days he is passing stool 4 times today he is also passing little mucus along with stool

Cause fir fever is infection . Deal with diarrhea. ORS ,FUROXONE 1TSF BD. CROCIN SYRUP YOU MAT NOT GIVE. ONCE INFECTION IS CURED TEMP WILL COME DOWN. .ORS TO MAITAIN HYDRATION. IF NEEDED CROCIN SYRUP : around 125 mg of crocin  in 5ml of syrup. Wt is not given.Normal caculation is 15mg of prycetamol per kgwt. Yiu get crocin strength 125mg per 5ml.

For loose stool, start enterogermina ampoule...1 ampoule once daily for 3-5 days. Need to know baby's weight to advice dose of crocin drops. However, crocin drops to be given only when temperature touches 100F or more.
Next Steps
watch for hydration status of baby. ORS as needed Hygeine. Avoid top milk till loose stool settles.

If there is loose stools give paediatric ORS - small sachet to be mixed in 200 ml of water to maintain hydration If there is mucus in stools please consult with a Paediatrician and start on antibiotics
