Fever itself is a non-specific symptom. It is important to establish why she is having fever. Temperature more than 100 is significant. So the advice always is to take her to the doctor. The cause of fever often is viral infections. If she remains well when the temperature comes down, you could watch her for another day. Maintain a record of her temperature. If however you think she looks unwell, its best to seek doctors opinion.
