  4. Fever. Temperature 100. 4F. Medicine!

Fever . Temperature 100.4F
My son is having fever( 100.4 F) no other issues. He is 18 months old 11kg weight. We are giving 1 ml calpol as prescribed by our pediatrician. But his temperature is not decreasing below 99F. What I should do to lower the temperature. Is it required to change the medicine

Hi thanks for writing to Practo.  Temperature  of 99 °F if perfectly fine. Fever is temperature more than 99.5°F.
