Hello
As you have already started medications continue the prescribed course. Keep a record of temperature, hydration, urine output and if there are any complaints of abdominal pain, vomiting. If fever persists for more than 3 days few tests are to be done and if there are any above said complaints consult your paediatrician.

Greetings
fever pattern that repeatedly returns after 4 to 5 hours usually means the fever-reducing medication (such as paracetamol) is wearing off, rather than indicating the illness itself is resetting on that schedule.Potential causes for this presentation include a secondary bacterial infection, a persistent viral respiratory tract illness, or a localized dental infection like a tooth abscess related to the swelling mentioned.
Fever coming back after 4–5 hours when the paracetamol effect wears off can happen during an infection, especially in the first 2–3 days.
Continue the medicines prescribed by your doctor and give plenty of fluids. Teething itself usually does not cause significant fever.
If fever continues beyond 3 days, becomes very high, or the child develops breathing difficulty, persistent vomiting, excessive sleepiness, poor drinking or reduced urine, please get him examined again by a pediatrician. Also avoid putting fingers repeatedly over the erupting tooth as it can injure the gums.
