My first boy is 5 and half year now and second boy 2 years with medicine I stored for fever meftal or paracetamol which is better..

Paracetamol is safe with lesser side effects than Meftal
Use Paracetamol as the first choice for both 2-year-old and 5-year-old children.
Use Mefenamic acid only if: Fever is not responding to paracetamol, Child has significant pain or discomfort, and doctor recommends it.
Always give Mefenamic acid after food to avoid stomach upset.

Use syringe or dropper provided with the medicine — avoid spoons. Do not exceed 4 doses per day.
Fever ≥100.4°F (38°C) and child is uncomfortable.
