Fever in 1 years old 99-100

my baby is 1 year old
she had cold and cough from 2-3 weeks and we took her to the doc but she is fine now with that but from today morning she has fever around 99-100. We live in chandigarh and as per the temp she wears 2-3 layers and cap on the head. We sleep at fan ON on 1 point but layers remains same. From morning she has fever that comes and goes and it is 99-100. we gave crocin (baby) 1ml
please guide, why she has fever
also she is eating well and plays also but little lazy cranky as well
