My 5 year son weight 18kgs had a fever from Saturday evening.which goes down by the time time i give calpol nd after 7-8hrs its rises up to 101.5.. No other medications will be given other than to calpol.he is eating ok ok nt too less not like previously diet. Does viral fever goes down by itself after 3 days r not

any other complaints other than fever?? cough, cold, vomitting, or loose motion, any pain while passing urine??
viral fever does settle in 3-5 days

Yes. Viral fever goes away on its own by 3-4 days. If he is active and eating well, continue same treatment. If fever starts rising or any new symptoms, child needs blood tests and close monitoring by a pediatrician
