All reports normal in a pt with fever for 4 days is normal..  Dengue NS1 may come positive in 4 days.. It is better to get Blood culture and urine culture done if fever is not settling in 1-2 days..  Ideally it shold be done before start of antibiotics... Then share reports...

Hello There. I can understand your concern. The best time to do a typhoid test is after 5 days of fever because it takes 5 days for it to come positive, Also Dengue NS1 as suggested by my colleague. You might need to change the antibiotic. instead of what you are taking right now, take Tab. Gudcef-plus twice a day after food. tab. dolo650g thrice a day after food both for 3 days. Consult a general physician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.

Viral fever can take up to 3 to 4 weeks to resolve sometimes. Usually it resolves in about 1 week. Please don't panic with fever of 100.3. Don't change medicines based on what you've read on Google or heard from friends. A doctor who has seen you physically, in person, is in a much better position to treat you than a doctor who reads about your illness from your post. If you feel it's necessary, please visit another physician for an opinion. Medicine is much more than a few lab reports. Without prejudice.
