FEVER FOR LAST 7 DAYS

Asked for Male, 38 Years

My 8 years old son has been suffering from fever for last 7 days. Doctor had prescribed medicines for viral fever but the fever is going after giving paracetamol & again coming after 5-6 hours with cold chill. The blood report is attached. Please guide me.

Hello. As clinically fever is for a week and his blood reports is suggestive of typhoid positive. It is better to get him examined once by a Pediatrician and decide the call for starting antibiotic.
