Fever, dry cough and mild headache
I'm experiencing mild cough without phlegm. I have very mild headache. My fever is always ranging between 98.9 to 100 F. Today is my 3rd day of fever. I am experiencing mild shortness of breath since today. But then I have previous case of breathlessness in the past year due to acute allergy to dry and dusty air. I also have a headache near the eyebrows My dad has been experiencing a fever of 100 to 101 F since past 6 days. He also has cough. I have been taking care of him. We both have isolated ourselves. But we are concerned. Should we think of getting tested for COVID 19

I would like to know whether you & your father have history of traveling to affected areas or any such important information if you would like to share?  Since you had similar episodes in the past & current history also suggests a similar episode along with infection ( like sinusitis), you might need to continue with your anti allergic medications, antibiotics & paracetamol. usually covid 19 infection resolves by 7th day ,like any other viral flu & if it doesnt or if the symptoms get worse, you need to consult the helpline or go to the nearest hospital to get yourself tested.( as the testing kits are too scarce ) Very happy to know that you both have isolated yourself as be it any infection, isolation is the first key to prevention.
