Fever and cold
My grandmother is 75+ and she is suffering from cold cough since 2 days. Her Rtpcr is negative and from today morning she is having headache and fever. Due to unavailability of doctors, she is left untreated. As she is older, can I give her azithromycin and paracetamol? If not then please suggest some other medication.

There is no specific contraindication for using these medicines for an elderly person. But it is always better to use antibiotics after examination of the  patient. Non availability of the doctor can not be a reason for giving medicine without seeing the patient.
