Fever and body pains from 10 days
Hi.. My mother is suffering from fever along with body, joint pains from past 10 days. Went to a nearby hspl and the doctor after blood tests confirmed she has typhoid. Gave medication for 5 days. she was fine with those medications for 5 days. But after the medication she again fell sick. When again consulted doctor, he advised for RA factor and CRP tests and asked her to take Emal 50 mg injection for another 5 more days. Rheumatoid factor seems to be negetive but CRP test is positive, it shows less than 6 mg/l (Dil 1:4). Not sure what it mean. Kindly advise what should be done so that she can recover completely.
