My son had fever 2 weeks ago. Very high 103. We visited Dr and he prescribed only mefson every 8 hours. The illness subsided and he became normal in two days. After that yesterday again he had slight fever 100.4. I gave him pcm 240- 5ml. He is getting it every 6 hours. Active and playful.
But my question is why did he fell ill so early after recovering from one illness. Please guide me. Is it a viral or bacterial infection and why does he fall ill so much.
He is 2.11 years and 12.5kg

Hi
It is common for children to get multiple infections one after the other. Especially viral ones. There are thousands of virus and children tend to get everyone of them ..as far as they are recovering in a week that's good news
Also the weight seems appropriate for the age
Hope this provides you some relief
