Fever 103 - 104 and 27000 TLC
Hello sirs, My nephew is 10 months old and he is being suffering from high fever (103 - 104) and CBC report says TLC is 27000 what should i do. Which medication needs to be given and is it worrisome?

He needs to be seen by a pediatrician...cause for fever has to be assessed...consult a doctor before starting any antibiotics

TLC count is very high. He might be in sepsis and need hospital admission. you should take him to nearby hospital with a pediatrician and start him on iv antibiotics.

Hello,as baby's total count is very high which could be more likely be a bacterial infection.Hence baby may need admission with IV antibiotics
