Fetal hiccups
I am in 7th month...I feel rthymic slow taps sometimes at one place in abdomen...jus like heartbeat..tap tap...that lasts fr 10 mins....i asked my gynae isnit fetal hiccups...she said there is nothing like fetal hiccups... It is Fetal movement... I want to ask u that is it really so there are no fetal hiccups... And if these are fetal hiccups...for how much duration should they last normally...

I am surprised that you could appreciate foetal hiccups. As far as I know, the hiccups don't develop during the Intrauterine period. Apart from heart action and limb movements only breathing movements and some grimace of the face can be seen in Sonography. But mothers are most welcome to give any description to any movement that they feel inside their Uterus.
