Felt a small ball shape on neck

Frm last one week a small ball shape has formed on my neck,while pressing a bit paining also.wat will be the problem?

It may be any number of things. A lymph node is the most commonly encountered. I cannot offer any other advice unfortunately as your history is inadequate. Could you please add to it?
