Any form of suppression will not help , and the more you struggle to be depression free , the more it will stay.
You must take a counseling session at earliest so that the root of your issue can be traced and correction done......remember the problem starts inside your head and will end there
There might be so many things that would have caused this situation to you. Need more inputs for diagnosis. Meanwhile follow the below mentioned tips for some improvement.
1. If you are a non vegetarian, avoid eating non vegetarian foods at night.
2. Increase the intake of water
3. Go for regular walking/any sport of your choice.
4. Use Groundnut oil/gingely oil for cooking your food
5. Avoid taking junk foods, fast foods and aerated drinks.
Make these simple life style changes to see some results. Regular walking is very much essential (A minimum of 1 hour)
Feel free to contact me for further guidance and help.
Should make the given life style changes and come for counseling and followed by therapy

Hi Chitra, as you have said you are suffering from severe Depression. Please understand that it is a disorder like any other physical one and needs proper treatment.
One of the features that stands out is that when you are depressed your past seems like it was all bad, your present seems unbearable and your future seems like it is meaningless or that things will never get better!
Please understand that it only "seems" like that because of the negative perceptions you have about either yourself, people around you or the circumstances.
Please consult a Psychiatrist. Life is as beautiful as you want it to be.
You have done things in the past which helped and you had become alright for some time. Do not lose hope. Fight it out again, this time with the help of a Psychiatrist. Medication does help and later you could undergo counseling so as to not relapse and handle life stressors with a smile!
Hope this helps, All the Best!
