I'm so sorry yu hear that! Feeling low and sad is a natural response to any loss, but it seems from your history that you're not able to come out from your past and it's affecting your present life badly, so some treatment needs to be initiated. Sorry to hear that you have been struggling with low mood and suicidal ideas. Given that these concerns appear to have worsened over time, it is best you seek professional help from a psychiatrist for a full evaluation and to give you suggestions on treatment options. It is likely you will need medications for the short term but longer term solutions to help you deal with the particular trauma/situation you describe happening a year ago, can be addressed through therapy- CBT or dynamic psychotherapy.
