Feeling of falling in bed
When I'm lying in bed, relaxed and dozing (not asleep) I'll occasionally feel a sudden jolt, as if I'd fallen from a height and slammed into the bed. My breathing is sped up, and I'll jerk as if I've had a shock. It's like the feeling of missing a step and slamming down onto the floor. Is this normal? Is there a name for it?
