Heartbreak is acutely painful. It does feel like life has come to a stop. There is an emptiness which is all pervasive. Nothing excites you, nothing gives you happiness. Of course your concentration will suffer. This is what heartbreak does. But this is also a part of life. Not everyone finds true love from the start or manages to retain it. There is no easy answer to it. But time is a great healer. If you can find the strength within you, do try and take part in activities that get you moving and also brings you closer to people. If you love animals, reach out. Animals know how to give unconditional love which is what we all need. Eventually, you will learn to move on.
Next Steps
Since your exams are your immediate priority, do see a psychologist who can help you with some relaxation exercises and talk you through your most painful moments. Do visualisation techniques so that you can learn to let go and say goodbye to this chapter of your life.
Health Tips
Whatever you choose to do, be gentle on yourself. Think of where you want to be five years from now.

Hi. I can understand what you must be going through. The initial phase after end of any relationship is very tough. We go through multitude not emotions and find it difficult to cope. Start doing exercises daily. Also start doing relaxation exercises like meditation and deep breathing. Start writing a diary daily to vent out your emotions. You can also consider talking to someone close regularly and open up about your emotions. In case despite doing all this, you find that the symptoms are not decreasing, consider getting professional help. You can then consult a psychiatrist or a psychologist. Medications or psychotherapy will help you.
Next Steps
Try the self help measures as mentioned above.
