Each fever has its own characteristics. Some have chills others do not. Some are low grade, others may be high grade. Fevers might be intermittent, some are present throughout the day &a I can go on & on. Lacking the info about your fever I can't say what your fever is due to at present. Visit your doctor who will guide you.
