Febrile seizure.
My daughter had a brief episode of febrile seizure 10days ago along with a bad stomach bug. Rushed 2 hospital and had 2 be watched for 24hrs. I was briefed by doc for the same for my 2.10year old. Doc has asked me to give half tab if frisium 5mg 12hr gap along with paracetamol My doubt is do we give frisium even when there is no fever ???

Frisium is not for fever, it prevents febrile seizure

Frisium is no more recommended. You just need to effectively reduce the temperature with antipyretics like paracetamol and cold sponging ,whenever child has fever.
