Febrile convolution
Hi doc, I have twin female babies of about a year now, one of whom had got febrile convolution and was under admission for two days and now under fresium tablet whenever fever comes again, pls give me a brief about it, as to wat are the chances of it reoccurring and can it occur in other twin too, how to avoid it and if at all it strikes again then how to cope up. Esp for the other twin Waiting for your reply with anticipation, A worried mother.

I totally understand how worried u must be. But let me assure you that febrile convulsion in this age group is more common and relatively safer than other nervous system problems. The main thing is to control the fever from going out of control. And that is done when acted proactively when ur child gets fever.

I would love to have more data regarding the weight of ur child and any recent blood tests that you have done . And that will help me advise you better . Just keep an eye on the other kid too since the chances of getting such convulsions is more common among Siblings. Kindly consult so I can help u better and we can prevent it before there is a need to cure

Keep the children immunity strong by giving multivitamin drops 5 drops two times a day .
