Hi Your symptoms fear of rabies, overthinking, and checking for dogs or cats are signs of OCD. You’re already doing the right thing by taking therapy. Now you should also meet a psychiatrist for proper diagnosis and medicine if needed. Continue CBT or ERP therapy, and try not to keep checking or asking for reassurance, as it makes the loop stronger. With the right help, OCD gets much better. Take therapy.
