Fear of Rabies
A puppy was bitten by a stray dog infront of my house, I rescued the puppy but it's quite possible I came in contact with his saliva. As per my memory whenever I touched the puppy or came in contact with his saliva, I washed my hands with soap within few(4-5) mins. Should I take any other precaution like vaccination and all.

You should take vaccination.
Animal handlers have a different vaccination schedule which is repeated every year whether you are bitten by a dog or not.

No need to vaccination if saliva of that dog have been not contaminated any open wound of your body any fluid of your body .
