Fatty helium in left axillary
I have pain in left underarms from past 3 to 4 months. Earlier it was paining before and after the periods. When i am in periods its paining more after than pain got reduced but still there.. when i am sleeping left side it is paining. Pain is mild only.. i consulted with doctor and they did the breast examing and didn't find anything.. still suggested the breast USG and told not to worry and prescribe the primosa madicine to have it for 3 months. In report its written,"two enlarge node with preserved fatty helium is present in left axillary". What is the meaning of this? I have attached the usg report. Still i am worring because my cousins sister has breast cancer in past.

These lymph nodes appear because of some infection. At present there seems no cause to worry. Take medicines as advised and remain in touch of your doctor. Do monthly breast self examination and report in case of any problem

The nodes are mostly due to some underlying infection or inflammation. Please do not worry, it is not cancerous as cancerous nodes do not have the preserved fatty hilum.
Next Steps
please continue with the evening primrose oil as advised and once again consult your primary physician
Health Tips
check whether the pain in breast is related to your menstrual cycle, eg occurring more especially just before periods or during periods
