Hi! What you’re describing—burning sensation, peeling, and dryness around the mouth and nose—can sometimes happen due to skincare products, including Vitamin C serums. Even though Plum 15% Vitamin C serum is generally considered mild, prolonged use or applying it near sensitive areas like the corners of the mouth and nose can cause irritation. Next Steps
Stop using the serum on the affected areas for a few days. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to help the skin barrier recover. Avoid harsh cleansers or scrubs. If the irritation persists, redness worsens, or you notice cracks/bleeding, it’s best to consult a dermatologist for proper evaluation. Vitamin C is excellent for skin, but sensitive areas may need extra caution, and sometimes the product may need to be used less frequently or in smaller amounts.

Hi there... While Vit C can cause the symptoms you describe, you mention you have been using the same brand for a long time... The history I'm afraid is insufficient and more details are required. Also some good clear pics of the problem areas may be useful to help us help you better Don't worry it can be easily sorted. Please feel free to contact us and CONSULT ONLINE to facilitate this and give you a clear management pathway 🙏
