Face tightness jaw pain
I am suffering from face tightness and jaw pain from past 1 year. Wearing night guard didn't help much. Sinus scans also came normal. The symptoms worsens as the day progresses and nothing but sleep helps in relieving the pain . This is affecting the quality of life.

ok fine lets look at your question very logically. as you have mentioned as the day progress your pain in joint decreases and sleep relives the pain in your joints. so bascically the root cause for your pain is because of the stress your joints and muscle supporting the joints are facing. so to solve this issue... 1. since you are already wearing the night gaurd its perfectly fine. 2. we have to give certain muscle relaxants and injections within your joint which will relax them. 3.and i need to modify your pattern of biting your teeth or lets say occlusion after which all should be fine. few years back i had a similar female patient who was wearing night gaurd but no relief her family life was just completely ruined because of the same pain...after we gave her treatment she got relieved and now she is doing perfectly fine.... for further queries feel free to conatct Dr.pranay dutta dwivedi smilecure Multispeciality dental clinic marathahalli bangalore 9916206200/08042050580 www.smilecuredentalclinics.com
