Hello Doctor,
I’m 31 years old, and I’ve noticed that the skin on my face and hands is becoming darker compared to the rest of my body. I live in a place with consistently cool and pleasant weather, and I’m rarely exposed to direct sunlight. I usually walk around 12,000 steps a day on average.
I have dry skin and I follow a regular skincare routine using good-quality products — including a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, SPF 50+ sunscreen, and AHA/BHA serums. Despite this, there’s been no noticeable improvement in my facial skin tone.
Could you please help me understand what might be causing this and guide me on what I can do differently?
Thank you.
