Mild jaundice (that is eyes, face and upper chest appearing yellow) is normal and expected to happen from 3 rd day after birth. It settles by around a week. However I highly recommend you to visit a doctor for ensuring that jaundice is only mild and there are no other concerns. For severe jaundice, hospitalization and treatment is required.
