Eye vision issue
Hi, my mother is 47 years old. She has diabetes and migraine pain too. Migraine pain affect is on right side and her right eye number is 5 point. Left eye is 2.5.
She is diabetic and have low bp condition too.
My query here is that would getting laser treatment for eyes would be a good idea or not? How likely it is that the power would not come back?

Hello.
If you are talking about lasik to get rid of glasses then in my opinion, she can manage with glasses now and go for multifocal lens when cataract develops.
If you are talking about retina laser for diabetic retinopathy then power has no relation with that

Since your mother is diabetic & myopic she should first get a detailed eye check up. Although Lasik is not usually recommended at this age since she would anyway need reading glasses, still if she is very keen to get rid of glasses various options are available depending upon her eye condition
