Eye sight problem
I selected for the JE,DMS posts but I has sight problem.My left eye has -1.75 which satisfies the 6/9 with glasses standerds but my right has -2.25 which has -0.25 extra sight (when power of lenses not to exceed 2D) which not satisfied above standard.Can I go for laser surgery before attending medical exam in railway

Your situation needs a laser procedure called PRK, not LASIK. You will first need a corneal thickness evaluation test (called pachymetry) and surface study (called topography). PRK procedure takes only about 5 minutes to complete, but it is advisable to go for your medical exam after about 3 months. You can get your desired job subsequently.

Well yes you can go for lasix...please consult an ophthalmologist at the earliest and once get examined as we need to check on the thickness before suggesting you laser
