Eye sensitivity
Having sensitivity to bright light sunlight and flouroscent lights.having trouble in looking at computer as well.was diagnosed fibromyalgia recently and using amigatin tablets at night from last 6 months . How much time would it take to get rid of these symptoms any other medication to be used.kindly suggest

For light sensitivity ,you can use antiglare or photochromic eyeglass & use lubricating eye drops eg Refresh liquigel, Systane ultra etc.    Fibromyalgia is disorder of chronic widespread pain & tenderness usually present in Young or middle aged women but can affect either sex at any age

No cure for fibromyalgia but lifestyle change s&proper medication can help. It can be managed by diet,stress management, aerobic exercise, & behavioral therapy. Common medication used in fibromyalgia include analgesics, antianxiety agents, skeltal muscle relaxants & anti oxidants & multi vitamins with aminoacids.

Hello Prolonged working on laptop/TV/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes sometimes watery eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses 4. Use good lubricating eyedrop this is not an eye disease. kindly consult local physician

Hello there...... Following these steps will help.... Avoid sunlight, close your eyes, Wear dark glasses , darken the room.... If eye pain is severe, see your ophthalmologist about the cause of light sensitivity. Proper treatment may cure the problem. Get medical help right away if your pain is moderate to severe, even in low-light conditions...... Consult your ophthalmologist.....
