Need to undergo Catract surgery but postponed due to lockdown. Need to understand the current status of the eye.

Hello , as per your papers the right eye surgery is done already. And the other eye cataract has not become too dense and hard yet . So I believe waiting for 1-2 months more would not cause any additional damage.

If the vision in your eye is not severly reduced, u can wait till the lockdown gets over... Pls get it operated after that .. Stay safe

Hello It is immature senile cataract You can wait for surgery till there is relief in lockdown.

Fortunately cataract is an elective surgery unless it's a hypermature cataract or any of Lens induced glaucomas. According to the attached findings one eye is already been operated for cataract and the other eye is having Immature senile Cataract. Also the vision in the cataractous eye is not hampered much. So better to wait till the Corona threat is lowered and be safe rather than risking your life.
