Eye laser or ICL ?
My eye power is -8.5 and also somewhat cylindrical. I have undergone certain tests for laser eye surgery. Doctor has said that laser is not possible fr such a high power nd also is not safe for my eyes and advised me to undergo ICL. I don't have any knowledge of ICL. I just want to know is laser is possible fr such a high power or nt ?? And is ICL safe ??

Hello ICL is recommended when eye parameters like corneal thickness etc are not suitable for LASIK ICL is a good option for these cases For more information, you can read my health tip on ICL "High Myopia: If Not Lasik, Then What?" by Dr.Vaibhev Mittal - https://www.practo.com/healthfeed/high-myopia-if-not-lasik-then-what-23944/post

Every surgery has a small amount of risk whether it is LASIK or ICL. For the power described as you said and with less corneal thickness ICL would be ideal if you satisfy the pre requisites for that .
