I suppose the contents of the Eye ointment must be Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone + Polymyxin B. There is always a proper course of treatment that should be followed. This Eye ointment has a steroidal component which is very helpful in certain eye conditions but has to be used as advised by your Ophthalmologists. Don't use on your own. Generally if we are using it for beyond 10 days then we have to taper it in a particular fashion. So use as advised but never on your own. Inadvertently used it can cause rebound inflammation or Steroid induced Glaucoma where the eye pressure shoots up.
Good morning, I would first like to see close up picture of your eyes. Apart from that, I would like to know if you are getting any itching in your eye and if you use digital screens for a long time. The ointment polysight - D has antibiotic along with steroid, I would advise you to take a proper consultation, in the meanwhile, you can use refresh tears eye drops - 4 times/day.
