Eye health After Lasik
Lasik corrects the myopic vision problem by adding a flap in eye. But eye sight problem occurs due lack of vitamin A( i got because of video games). So after Lasik also there is lack of nutrition for eye. How do we handle nutrition problem after Lasik ?

there is no need for special nutrition after lasik.
lasik is a simple surgery
you may use lubricating eyedrop regularly

myopia is because of bigger size of the eye ball. lasik can correct it depending on suitability of your eye and power of the myopia.
lasik is not advisable if you have dry eyes , ( which can be due to chronic vitamin deficiency)

LASIK affects nerve supply of cornea resulting in complaints of dryness with many patients, where as Smile has only cutting of only 2.5 to 3 mm ,so less complaint of dryness with smile,there is no direct blood supply in cornea ,it takes nutrition from tears from blinking from outer surface & from aqueous in anterior chamber on posterior side of cornea.

In Lasik surgery we create a flap but we reshape your Cornea. There is no nutritional effect of LASIK on Cornea.

Hi.. Your results depend on your specific refractive error and other factors. People with a low grade of nearsightedness tend to have the most success with refractive surgery. People with a high degree of nearsightedness or farsightedness along with astigmatism have less predictable results.
Many people have positive results and report high satisfaction after LASIK surgery.
