Eye has become red

Asked for Female, 3 Years

My daughter has hit one of her eye with some object and it has become red. The redness is still there though it's a week now. Please advice

Minor injuries usually heal by themselves, with or without medical intervention. Since redness is there for nearly a week now, better to consult an ophthalmologist. Associated pain, watering, inability to tolerate light, etc make it even more urgent to go for an opinion.
