OS: +1.00 DS
ADD: +1.75 OU
My question is
1) In this case, if a bifocal is worn, will the power in distance vision be zero for left eye? and minus 2 for right eye?
2) Also power in near vision will be 0.25 for right eye and 2.75 fro left eye?
Am I correct in understanding the meaning of the prescribed glasses?

Your calculations for right eye are okay but for left eye,distance vision power will not be zero...it will be +1D

yes. but leave all this maths to the optician. you should be concerned about good vision through spectacles only.
