Eye dryness, red,eaching.
I am a computer user for more than 10 hours daily, from last 6 month i am facing dryness, redness, eaching and stress in left eye,and forehead, is this problem is curable, also i have visited 1 doctor recently he said its not curable, you have to avoid uncomfirtable situation , wind, polution and computer, or taking breaks after every 1/2 in your working time..

You have computer vision syndrome. Use abundant lubricating drops, blink a lot while working on the computer, don't sit with the AC directly blowing in your face, maintain correct posture while working on the computer, cold compresses, take frequent breaks.

Prolonged working on laptop/TV/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes sometimes watery eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses 4. Use good lubricating eyedrop.

Well you have something known as computer vision syndrome. I recommend that you use some lubricating drops, take frequent breaks, maintain proper distance from the computer, you may also put an antiglare screen or use antiglare glasses. Rule out refractive errors, sometimes minor refractive errors lead to lot of discomfort when we work for a long time on computers. Lubricating drops also play an important role as we tend to blink less while working on computers so we develop a dry eye
