Usually it is normal. It seems like Entoptic Phenomena. I would like to know if you are seeing floaters when the eyes are fully opened and visualise any flashes and that of recent onset?
Next Steps
Since you are myopic it is better to have a dilated Fundus examination and Indirect Ophthalmoscope to rule out any peripheral Retinal tears or Holes or Lattice degeneration.
Health Tips
An annual dilated screening examination by IDO for peripheral Retina is suggested. if any new flashes or floaters noted or any trauma visit the consultant immediately
