Extreme dry cough in pregnacy

Asked for Female, 27 Years

My wife is 5 week pregnant. She got cold. Her tonsil has swollen. Now she is coughing repeatedly. She has large tonsil from childhood and it creates problem often . But now she is pregnant. What will i do? Kindly suggest.
