As history suggestive of tonsil stone so only thing is to do gargle with warm saline water after every major meal, so that these food debris shouldn't  get accumulated in the tonsillar crypts . Otherwise we have to look for any residual or ongoing infection is there or not  as cough is also there and if it is trouble some then definitely you have to consult an ENT specialist of your choice for online video consultation or inclinic as per your convenience for the treatment options. Thanking you.

Hi. If the tonsil stones are recurrent, it could mean that the crypts in your tonsils are big, which is why food debris gets collected in them, forming stones. If not treated, it could give rise to problems like bad breath etc. You could try using a mouth gargle like chlorhexidine after every meal. If that doesn't help, please visit an ENT specialist online/In-person for further evaluation and treatment. Warm regards, Dr. Aanchal, Therapeia centre, Bangalore
