Babies should be fed exclusive breast milk till 6 months of age. Baby should gain weight of 200gm a week, pass urine and motion. That is more important than quantity of milk. Also weight of baby can be used to calculate amount of milk needed. Aim to give about 160 ml per kg per day divided every 3 hours (8 feeds ). So if weight is 4kg, give 80 ml every 3 hours. But weight gain is more important than quantity.
