Experiencing back pain
I am experiencing back pain from several days. I hit the gym 6 days a week lifting average weight and a little cardio exercises. Taking descent and clean diet. I feel stiffness in the body every morning when i wake up atleast for an hour till i stretch or warmup. I am unable to figure out the problem maybe its due to herniation or calcium deficit. Need a consultation asap.

Hi there I understand your concern...For spine diagnostics, MRI is necessary...Ensure that you maintain an appropriate posture while working or sitting or walking....Take frequent stretch breaks and drink lots of water...Discontinue using pillow while sleeping straight...Do not lift heavy objects, especially after bending down....Eat a healthy wholesome meal which should satisfy your minerals and proteins requirement...take over the counter pain medications.. Consult nearest orthopedic surgeon they will do the needful.

Hello There. I can understand your concern. this could be due to over use of the back muscles. take the exercises bit slowly and gradually increase the intensity. also there could be a calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency also. better to have a high protein diet along with high calcium diet. have milk and milk products. get adequate sun exposure everyday i.e., 20 mins of sun exposure with at least 20 percent of the body surface area exposed to sun before 1 in the afternoon. tab. supracal pro once a day after food for 15 days. consult a orthopedician for further help. best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.
