Exercises and therapy for herniated disc
A European friend of mine is diagnosed with herniated discs around 2 years back. She has L4-L5, L5-S1, Protrusion on L3. Around a year back she complained about countinous small back pain. With treatment and swimming practice she felt better for couple of months. The pain started again and this time she was feeling back pain, pain and numbness in left leg. She has taken phisiotherapy, balneo treatment as suggested by doctors. During treatments she felt pain getting less but not gone completely. After balneo treatment taken 1 month back, she is feeling seviour pain. Due to pain and numbness in left leg, she is not able to walk properly and leaned towers left while walking. Currently she walks slowly and improving slowly. Doctors have suggested light exercises but not prescribed any specific exercises. Doctors suggested to loose weight to help spine recover. previously gym exercises worsen the situation, please suggest some easy and effective exercises and some effective treatment
