My mri shows disc bulge posterior l5 s1,can I sleep in prone position,coz some says not 2 go with prone position but I get relief only in that position.is it ok if I sleep in prone? My next query is while doing exercise can I wear LS belt? While putting LS belt is it necessary to hold abdomen inside while doing exercise? Some says prolonged sitting shldnt be encouraged,u shld walk,but I hve pain while walking vt can I do?

hello ,first of all you can take your position whatever comfortable to you.dont to any activity or dont assume any position that aggravate your pain . secondly,you have wear belt while walking ,standing or sitting position.while doing physiotherapy exercise no need to wear belt. third thing ,definetly prolonged sitting aggravate your pain ,because so much pressure will come on disc.
Next Steps
do exercise which you feel no pain in that.take physiotherapy treatment .go slowly with exercise .when patient have pain in all movement they give modalities and relaxation positioning and relaxation exercise
Health Tips
do hot and cold pack frequently .assume comfortable position more.do activity in that you feel better.
