Excess uric acid in blood.
I have a uric acid level of 8.5 mg/L. I'm 21 and recently started working out in the gym. How can I take enough proteins without consuming too much purine?

Hi there. A uric acid level of 8.5 is pretty high. What I may suggest is avoid meat, dal and chicken. Only thing which you can have and that too in a limited amount us eggs, and supplements such as whey protein. Also, just in case, please avoid alcohol esp. beer since most of the individuals with a high uric acid level are associated with increased intake alcohol.
