Diet: Choose a heart-healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Limit saturated and trans fats, found in fried and processed foods. Include sources of healthy fats like olive oil and nuts. Reduce dietary cholesterol intake, often found in egg yolks and organ meats. Exercise: Engage in regular physical activity to help lower LDL (bad) cholesterol and raise HDL (good) cholesterol. Weight Management: Maintain a healthy weight or lose weight if overweight. Losing even a small amount of weight can improve cholesterol levels. Quit Smoking: Smoking lowers HDL cholesterol and damages blood vessels. Limit Alcohol: If you drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Medication: If lifestyle changes aren't enough, your doctor may prescribe medications to manage cholesterol. Regular Check-ups: Get regular cholesterol screenings and follow your doctor's recommendations. Stress Management: Chronic stress can affect cholesterol levels, so practice stress-reduction techniques. Fiber: Include soluble fiber in your diet, which can help lower LDL cholesterol. Foods like oats, beans, and fruits are good sources.

Hello i have noted your concern, His weight is still on higher side, he need to loose weight according to his height, and moreover if you are going manage the levels with diet and lifestyle modifications, you need to wait at least 12weeks which means 3months from the day of starting your dietary intervention and exercises.
Next Steps
Don’t panic, continue exercise and diet, re check levels after 3months if still high then consult adoctor and get other parameters also tested like diabetes HTN OSA and check for his habits of smoking and drinking which is very significant with hyperlipidemia.
Health Tips
Try to add omega 3 fatty acids rich food like fish, walnuts, flax seeds, chia seeds, spinach and soybeans use olive oil instead of refined or regular oil.
