Epithelial cells in pregn
I am 16 wks pregnant and my urine test shows 5.6 leucocytes and 6.7 as the reading for epithelial cells and these are above normal range. My next visit to gynec is after 3 weeks & I can't wait till then. Is this something I need to worry about? Will it have any impact on the baby? I dont have any UTI symptoms except for occasional pelvic pain. Please advise.

Your reports are fine. There is nothing to be worried about. Drink lots of water. Follow up with your obstetrician for further guidance.

5 to 6 leucocytes are not significant, but its better to do urine for culture sensitivity which which will rule out any infection, because even if you are asymptomatic, still any UTI in pregnancy should be treated
